Delivery Management - with a focus on CMM Level 5

In order to meet the quality and schedule requirements of the most demanding of customers, Bleum has developed a highly disciplined and repeatable process to deliver its development services. Pearl is Bleum's own proprietary software development methodology which guarantees on time and on budget delivery. This rigorous development methodology combines the best aspects of leading software methodologies, including the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), optimized for offshore development. The methodology encompasses the complete software development life cycle including requirements, design, development, test and deployment.

Supporting the Pearl development process is Hydra®, Bleum's Quality Management System (QMS). Hydra is a web-based project management system integrating all of the key development processes and tools, as well as a client communications system providing customers with real-time visibility into project status. By accessing client dashboards from within their Web browser, a Bleum client can closely follow the status of their project.

In addition to using the Pearl® process supported by the Hydra® application, Bleum offers flexible execution utilizing a blended outsourcing model supporting both offshore and onsite services. Specifically, the Bleum onsite-offshore model allows us to work onsite at the customer location defining requirements and deploying projects, with the majority of the development work being done offshore in China. Delivering this blended model will provide all the necessary onsite/offshore resources.
