Achievement by Bleum's Shanghai based International Development Center Demonstrates China's Ability to Provide World-Class Offshore Software Services to Multinational Corporations.
SHANGHAI, China-August 05, 2005. Bleum, one of China's leading providers of offshore software development services, announced today that its Shanghai development center has been successfully assessed CMM Level 5, the highest level in CMM quality assessment. CMM is an internationally recognized standard for measuring the maturity of an organization's software development processes and has become the primary benchmark multinational corporations use to judge offshore service providers' abilities to deliver high quality software. Bleum is now one of only a few companies in China to be assessed Level 5.

The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) was developed under the guidance of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University in the U.S (www.sei.cmu.org). It is organized into five maturity levels with Level 5 being the highest.
