George McKinnon

SVP CIO/ Engineering

George joined Bleum in 2009 as Senior Vice President / Chief Delivery Officer (CDO). He has P&L responsibility for software development and supporting operations of our Offshore Development Center (ODC) model. This broad set of responsibilities includes delivery of application development, product development, support and maintenance, testing, and legacy system modernization. Lastly, he is accountable for upholding the highest quality standards as mandated by ISO 27001 and CMMI Level 5 certifications. His team is comprised of industry specific SBU leaders, ODC managers, CIO, CTO, and architects.

George is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of technology management experience with top tier and Fortune 100 companies including Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Nationwide Insurance and Expedia. As a CIO and VP Technology, he and his teams have been involved in all aspects of software development in areas including IT Strategy, SOA transformation, B2B/B2C, data warehousing and backoffice transformation. This experience combined with being based in our Shanghai office, provides Bleum with western best-practices for our customers enabling us to delivery world-class results.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, George earned his BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and later went on to receive a Masters Degree in Business Administration from West Coast University. In addition, he has attended Stanford's world renowned Executive Education Program. George has been recognized by InformationWeek Magazine and Insurance & Technology Magazine with the award of "Top 10 CIO" and "Elite 8 CIO", respectively.
